WHAT
A geofence is a virtual perimeter for a real-world geographic area. A geofence could be generated as a radius around a point location, or a geofence can be a pre-defined set of boundaries (such as, store locations, competitors, convention centers, neighborhood boundaries, etc).
WHY
Utilizing this technology, timely advertisements are served to prospective customers; mobile devices, triggered by them entering a geofenced area. Geofences can be drawn around your store to notify existing customers of promotions, or around a competitors’ retail location to conquest new customers.
HOW IT WORKS:
STEP 1:
Define your geo-fence. (store locations, competitors, neighborhood boundaries, etc.)
STEP 2:
Design the message you would like to advertise.
STEP 3:
Let Fisher work their magic, capture and track all mobile IDs for the customers who entered “the fence”.
STEP 4:
Fisher will push your message to those customer's devices, regardless of where they are.
